You can delete your Sevo account at any time. This is free and does not require a reason.
Preferred: in-app
- Open Sevo.
- Go to Settings → Account → Delete account.
- Enter your password to confirm.
The request is queued immediately. Confirmation arrives by email once deletion is complete.
Alternative: by email
Send an email to contact@phonevox.xyz from the address on your account, with the subject "Account deletion request". We process requests within 30 days, as required by GDPR Art. 17.
What we delete
- Your account profile, email, display name, and hashed password
- Your lesson progress, streak, and activity history
- Device preferences linked to your account
- Crash traces linked to your account
What we have to keep
We keep subscription and billing records for 10 years. This is a legal obligation under French Commerce Code Art. L123-22. These records are stored encrypted, with restricted access, and are used only for accounting and regulatory purposes.
Timing
Live database deletion happens within 30 days of your request. Your data may remain in encrypted backups for up to a further 30 days before it rolls off the normal backup rotation. After that, the data is gone.
