Terms of Service

Last updated: April 20, 2026

1. These terms

These terms form a contract between you and PHONEVOX. By creating a Sevo account or using the Sevo app or landing page, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use Sevo.

2. Who we are

Sevo is operated by PHONEVOX, a French SASU registered at 60 rue François Ier, 75008 Paris, RCS Paris 995 051 638, VAT FR05 995 051 638. You can reach us at contact@phonevox.xyz.

3. What Sevo is

Sevo is a mobile application that gives you short, gamified lessons about artificial intelligence and related topics. Lessons are written by PHONEVOX.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sevo. If you are between 13 and 17, use Sevo with a parent or guardian's permission. By creating an account, you confirm you meet this requirement.

5. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us as soon as you suspect someone else is using your account.

You agree to give us accurate information when you register and to keep it up to date.

6. Subscriptions and billing

Sevo is free to start. Sevo Plus is an optional paid subscription that unlocks extra lessons and features.

7. Refunds

All refund requests must be submitted to Apple (iOS) or Google (Android) using their standard refund flow. PHONEVOX cannot process refunds on their behalf.

8. Educational content — no professional advice

Sevo is an educational product. Its lessons simplify complex topics to make them easier to learn. Do not rely on Sevo as professional, legal, medical, financial, or safety advice. We make no warranty that any specific fact in a lesson is current, complete, or error-free. For professional advice, consult a qualified professional.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may suspend or close accounts that violate this section, with notice where feasible.

10. Intellectual property

All lessons, branding, graphics, code, and content in Sevo are owned by PHONEVOX or licensed to us. You get a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive, revocable licence to use Sevo on devices you own or control, for your own learning.

If you submit free text (for example, in a feedback form), it remains yours. You grant PHONEVOX a non-exclusive licence to store and display it to you, and to use an anonymised or aggregated form of it to improve Sevo.

11. Termination

By you: delete your account any time at Delete Account. This ends these terms, except for sections that naturally survive (intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, governing law).

By us: we may suspend or end your access if you materially breach these terms or we are required to by law. Where feasible, we give notice first.

12. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, Sevo is provided "as is" and "as available". We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, except those that cannot lawfully be disclaimed. Nothing in this section excludes the non-waivable statutory rights that French or EU consumer law grants you.

13. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PHONEVOX's total liability for any claim arising out of or related to Sevo — in contract, tort, or otherwise — is capped, for each affected user, at the greater of:

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct, or any liability that French or EU consumer-protection law does not allow us to limit.

14. Indemnification

You agree to defend and indemnify PHONEVOX against third-party claims, damages, and expenses arising from your misuse of Sevo or your material breach of these terms, except to the extent PHONEVOX's own fault contributed to the claim.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The "Last updated" date at the top will change. For any material change, we will announce it in-app and by email at least 30 days in advance. If you keep using Sevo after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not, delete your account.

16. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. Disputes go to the courts of Paris, unless you are a consumer resident in the European Union, in which case mandatory consumer-protection rules and the courts of your place of residence continue to apply.

EU consumers may also submit a dispute to the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
